History
Urban South was founded in 2007 as a full-service beat brokerage interagency and marketing firm to service the needs of our expanding client base of popular music producers. From inception, our focus has been placing commercially acceptable master recordings with prominent hip-hop and popular music artists and negotiating favorable terms to effect the sale and commercial viability of our client's material.

Approach
In addition to offering production brokerage services, we provide a host of vertical amenities designed to compliment our client's publishing efforts and maximize ROI. We produce and distribute mixtapes, original HD music videos and launch full-scale publicity campaigns to maximize the value of our client's placement opportunities.
